Base Salary
$174k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Support the design and implementation of cloud-based architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and troubleshoot issues.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior cloud engineers.
- Engage with stakeholders to translate technical requirements into actionable solutions.
- Prepare operating instructions and end user training.
- Develop and implement cloud governance strategies.
- Lead efforts to automate deployment and management processes.
- Act as a subject matter expert on cloud engineering best practices.
- Participate in risk management assessments and architecture.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI with CI Poly security clearance.
- Certification to meet 8140/8570 standards (e.g., Security+ or above).
- 10+ years of experience in cloud solution architecture or similar roles.
- Extensive experience building AWS cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
- Expert-level skills in managing desktop OS images in the cloud.
- In-depth understanding of modern cloud architecture patterns.
- Strong background in infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform.
- In-depth understanding of cloud security best practices.
- Excellent scripting and programming skills for automation.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
