Responsibilities
- Lead the technical direction and implementation of a city-scale simulation environment for release validation.
- Architect solutions for large-scale simulated environments and drive migration to modern testing frameworks.
- Ensure cross-functional alignment and expand test coverage for complex systems.
- Build and evolve mission-critical horizontal infrastructure and tooling supporting commercialization systems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop systems and processes as business needs evolve.
- Scale systems to support commercial expansion and increasing complexity.
- Develop world simulation for regression testing and evaluation of software services managing autonomous-vehicle fleets.
- Mentor a team of engineers delivering a reliable, repeatable, and realistic testing environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 6 years of backend or infrastructure experience.
- At least 5 years of technical leadership experience.
- Proven ability to drive strategic alignment and consensus across complex, cross-functional organizations.
- Experience with C++ or willingness to participate in professional development to stay current with industry knowledge is preferred.
- Experience working with nontechnical team members is preferred.
- Experience with operations tooling, developer productivity, or developer tools is preferred.
- Experience with simulation environments is preferred.
