Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Build and modernize software capabilities supporting State Farm’s P&C Claims teams.
- Develop and support user experiences, APIs, integrations, data capabilities, and cloud-based solutions.
- Work across existing platforms and next-generation capabilities to shape technical solutions for the claim experience.
- Apply modern software engineering and DevOps practices, including production support and observability.
- Design and maintain reliable automated testing focused on regression prevention, maintainability, and dependable delivery pipelines.
- Identify and incrementally validate well-governed opportunities for GenAI, coding assistants, retrieval, structured prompting, evaluation, and lightweight agent workflows.
Requirements
- Strong modern full-stack engineering fundamentals with Java/Spring and Angular/TypeScript across APIs, user interfaces, data access, and enterprise integrations.
- Experience with AWS, OpenShift/Kubernetes, containers, infrastructure as code, security controls, production support, and observability tools such as Dynatrace.
- Ability to create and maintain automated tests using JUnit, Playwright, and Jest.
- Comfort working with SQL/PostgreSQL, REST APIs, document processing, and complex business rules across interconnected systems.
- Interest in practical applications of GenAI and developer-productivity practices; end-to-end AI ownership is not required.
