Base Salary

$152k - $288k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Own and reduce the security vulnerability backlog for kernel and firmware components through triage, remediation, validation, and SLA compliance.
  • Lead continuous security pipelines covering scanning, triage, root-cause analysis, remediation, and validation across software and firmware components.
  • Communicate security risks, security posture, and remediation progress through metrics, reports, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Partner with engineering and security teams on long-term security strategy and product hardening.
  • Drive security reviews of software and hardware designs and help ensure product quality and robustness.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and develop security technologies and tools, including static analysis, dynamic analysis, and fuzzing solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant industry software engineering experience.
  • Experience analyzing the security of complex systems.
  • Strong technical background with excellent C programming and low-level driver experience.
  • Knowledge of operating systems and computer architecture fundamentals.
  • Strong communication, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
  • Preferred experience includes security code-quality tooling, vulnerability research, AI/LLM-based tools, agentic workflows, threat modeling, unit testing, incident response, and working with geographically distributed teams.

Benefits

  • Base salary ranges from $152,000 to $241,500 for Level 3 and from $184,000 to $287,500 for Level 4, depending on location, experience, and comparable employee pay.
  • Eligible for equity and comprehensive benefits.
