Base Salary
$150k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and deploy AI agents using Claude, OpenAI, or similar agent SDKs with custom tools and function calling.
- Design desktop and cloud-based tool harnesses and execution environments, including local CLI, IDE integrations, containerized systems, and APIs.
- Partner with internal teams to identify workflow automation opportunities and build tailored agents.
- Develop context engineering, prompt engineering, caching, model-selection, monitoring, error-handling, and cost-control strategies.
- Build and maintain tool libraries that connect agents to internal systems, APIs, and data sources.
- Deploy and manage agents across cloud environments and optimize their performance and cost.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience building and shipping AI agents to production, including cloud deployment.
- Experience building tools, harnesses, scaffolding, advanced agent patterns, or multi-agent systems.
- Strong understanding of LLM capabilities, limitations, model differences, context engineering, and prompt engineering.
- Daily familiarity with Claude Code and Cursor, including headless mode, multi-file editing, and MCP server integration.
- Experience building and configuring MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers.
- Comfort working across GCP, AWS, Azure, and containerized environments.
- Strong product sense, pragmatic execution, ownership, communication, and ability to translate non-technical workflows into useful agents.
- Open-source contributions to AI/ML projects and familiarity with observability tools for LLM applications are preferred.
- Media, ad tech, or streaming data domain knowledge is preferred.
