Responsibilities
- Write and maintain efficient software components using development best practices.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, document, and support software applications and data platforms.
- Implement unit and integration testing frameworks for software validation.
- Analyze integration needs and plan system architecture for technical requirements.
- Develop and support backend systems, APIs, data pipelines, distributed systems, and enterprise applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to improve application performance and user satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional technical and business teams and work with Quality Assurance to meet specifications.
- Work a regular schedule that may include nights, weekends, and variable hours as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2–5 years of relevant work experience.
- Hands-on knowledge of Scala is required.
- Experience with Apache Spark or other distributed data processing technologies.
- Experience developing and supporting multi-tenant, multi-platform applications, data pipelines, or distributed systems.
- Experience building and supporting backend systems, APIs, data platforms, or enterprise software applications.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with data processing, ETL, data integration, or distributed computing frameworks.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies, testing practices, source control, and CI/CD processes.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in production environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
