Base Salary
$284k - $334k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the facilities telemetry platform that collects data from sensors, meters, and controllers across the fleet.
- Own architecture for ingestion, time-series storage, and APIs supporting operations, ML, and controls teams.
- Establish and enforce telemetry naming, unit, and data-quality standards at the edge.
- Lead a small team while implementing the most technically challenging components.
- Maintain platform SLAs and operational maturity.
Requirements
- Experience building or leading time-series or telemetry platforms at industrial or fleet scale.
- Experience designing ingestion for field protocols including BACnet, Modbus, and OPC UA.
- Experience establishing data standards across teams and sites.
- Experience operating platforms with SLAs and strong operational reliability.
- Hands-on coding ability and a lead-from-the-front approach.
- Bonus experience with Timescale, Influx, ClickHouse, edge computing, BMS, SCADA integration, Kafka, or streaming systems.
