Base Salary
$130k - $165k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
- Develop highly scalable and fault-tolerant applications.
- Use cloud services for application deployments.
- Implement application containerization strategies.
- Develop user interfaces using modern front-end technologies.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of strong Java experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying critical and complex projects.
- Strong Java skills and experience developing concurrent and distributed systems.
- Experience with Java Streams API.
- 5+ years of advanced experience with Spring-based technologies such as Spring Boot and Spring Cloud, and caching frameworks such as Hazelcast.
- 5+ years of SQL knowledge and experience.
- Experience designing and implementing microservices-based solutions.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests and SQL queries with a strong understanding of data models.
- Exposure to AWS cloud services including EC2, ECS, Load Balancer, Security Group, Lambda, and S3.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.
