Base Salary
$83k - $155k/yr
Responsibilities
- Work independently and as part of an Agile software development team.
- Support or lead software development activities to meet schedule commitments.
- Develop innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
- Plan, design, develop, and implement software systems.
- Develop and maintain full-stack web applications.
- Communicate progress and collaborate effectively with stakeholders and small technical teams.
- Debug and optimize code and automate routine tasks.
- Integrate with internal developer portals such as Spotify’s Backstage when applicable.
Requirements
- Software Engineer Level 2 candidates qualify with a high school diploma and 6 years of software development experience, a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field and 2 years of experience, or a master’s degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field and 0 years of experience.
- Principal Software Engineer Level 3 candidates qualify with a high school diploma and 9 years of software development experience, a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field and 5 years of experience, or a master’s degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field and 3 years of experience.
- Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD automation, Helm, and Kubernetes.
- Exposure to microservices, Swagger, and API definitions.
- Experience with modern IDE tools, testing mechanisms, and full-stack web application development.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, prioritization, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
- Preferred experience includes Angular, React, TypeScript, Java with Spring Boot, Python, Docker, Kubernetes, Elastic, jQuery, Bootstrap, Jira, GitLab Pipelines, relational/graph/document databases, Git, Bitbucket, AWS, Azure, and Spotify’s Backstage.
Benefits
- Primary level base salary range is $83,400.00-$125,200.00 annually and secondary level base salary range is $103,600.00-$155,400.00 annually.
