Base Salary
$114k - $228k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement microservices and cloud-native SaaS applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Azure.
- Develop responsive user interfaces with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, NgRx, amCharts, and AG-Grid.
- Use Azure PaaS services including Service Bus, Cosmos DB, Blob Storage, Redis Cache, and Identity Manager.
- Write unit, integration, and automated tests and conduct load testing using JUnit, Jest, JMeter, and Lighthouse.
- Ensure security, performance, reusable design patterns, standardization, and regulatory compliance.
- Mentor junior engineers, drive architectural decisions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Work independently and collaboratively, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and travel approximately 10%.
Requirements
- 10+ years of backend development experience, with full-stack experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Java 11+, Spring Boot, microservices, database technologies, and cloud-native SaaS application development.
- Experience with Azure Cloud and Azure PaaS services including messaging, Service Bus, Cosmos DB, Blob Storage, Redis Cache, and Identity Manager.
- Frontend experience with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, NgRx, charting and grid libraries, and the Nx build system is preferred.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, JUnit, Jest, static code analyzers, and software testing methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of component-based architecture, security, performance optimization, design patterns, multithreading, visual modeling, and source code management.
- Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, collaboration, and prioritization skills.
- Master’s degree is preferred; knowledge of AI agents in the software development lifecycle, GraphQL, JMeter, Lighthouse, regulated medical software, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
