Base Salary
$100k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Java and Spring Boot microservices and APIs for cloud-native SaaS applications.
- Build responsive frontend interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, NgRx, amCharts, and AG-Grid.
- Develop and operate applications using Azure PaaS services including Service Bus, Cosmos DB, Blob Storage, Redis Cache, and Identity Manager.
- Write unit and integration tests, conduct load testing, and apply static code analysis and automated testing practices.
- Ensure security, performance, reusable architecture, design-pattern adherence, and regulatory compliance.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive architectural decisions while collaborating with cross-functional teams and vendors.
- Work independently and collaboratively in iterative Scrum or Kanban development processes.
- Travel approximately 10% and maintain reliable attendance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in software engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
- At least 6 years of backend development experience, with full-stack experience preferred, and demonstrated ability to lead development.
- Experience with Java 11+, Spring Boot, microservices, REST API development, and databases, with PostgreSQL preferred.
- Experience building cloud-native SaaS applications on Azure and using Azure PaaS services such as Service Bus, Cosmos DB, Blob Storage, Redis Cache, and Identity Manager.
- Preferred frontend experience with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, NgRx, functional programming, amCharts, AG-Grid, Nx, and developer productivity tools.
- Experience with JUnit, Jest, static code analyzers, JMeter, Lighthouse, CI/CD pipelines, unit and integration testing, and automated testing is preferred.
- Knowledge of AI agents in the software development life cycle and regulated medical software development is preferred.
- Knowledge of component-based architecture, security, performance optimization, design patterns, reusability, standardization, visual modeling, multi-threading, formal software development methodologies, and source code management.
- Strong communication, collaboration, organization, attention to detail, prioritization, and deadline-management skills.
