Senior Software Engineer

- Lead the design and development of .NET Core services and APIs.
- Guide architecture, design decisions, best practices, and technical direction for a development team.
- Write code and contribute to implementation, debugging, optimization, testing, and performance improvements.
- Build, containerize, deploy, and maintain scalable and highly available AWS solutions.
- Design database schemas and write performant queries across relational and NoSQL data stores.
- Mentor engineers and promote consistent engineering practices and technical growth.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, engineers, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate across the full software development lifecycle from design through deployment and support.
- Promote continuous improvement in engineering tools, processes, and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- At least 4 years of experience designing and developing production software systems.
- Strong expertise in C# and .NET Core.
- Experience designing distributed, highly available, and scalable systems.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or Microsoft SQL Server and with schema design and performant queries.
- Experience with NoSQL data stores such as DynamoDB is a plus.
- Experience with Agile development practices and automated testing.
- Hands-on production experience building, containerizing, and deploying applications in AWS, including EC2, container platforms, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Docker; Kubernetes or another orchestration platform is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, mentoring, independent-work, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
