Base Salary
$125k - $218k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on technical leadership and architecture direction for the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Shape and maintain the Salesforce technical roadmap across core clouds, integrations, workflow automation, reporting, and related capabilities.
- Define and govern architecture standards, design patterns, naming conventions, release standards, and documentation expectations.
- Translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions involving configuration, Flow, Apex, Lightning Web Components, data models, security, reporting, and integrations.
- Review technical designs and configuration or code approaches to ensure maintainable, scalable, and standards-aligned solutions.
- Guide Salesforce administrators, developers, consultants, vendors, and distributed delivery teams.
- Support DevOps, environment management, release management, deployment, and change control practices.
- Assess technical debt and platform risk and help prioritize modernization activities.
- Partner with stakeholders, delivery leads, product owners, business analysts, and QA/UAT teams to support predictable delivery.
Requirements
- Significant experience as a Salesforce Technical Architect or Lead Salesforce Architect in a complex enterprise environment.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Salesforce platform architecture.
- Experience designing Salesforce integrations with enterprise systems using middleware, event-driven patterns, or platforms such as MuleSoft.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security, sharing models, profiles, permission sets, roles, data quality, and platform performance.
- Ability to explain technical tradeoffs in business terms and collaborate effectively with stakeholders and delivery teams.
- Preferred Salesforce certifications include Application Architect, System Architect, Technical Architect, Platform Developer, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, Experience Cloud Consultant, or Platform App Builder.
- Preferred experience includes Pardot/Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, CRMA, Tableau, Data Cloud, Agentforce, Flosum, Copado, Gearset, Azure DevOps, or Jira.
- Experience in insurance, brokerage, financial services, regulated enterprise environments, workflow modernization, document management, portals, data standardization, or business process automation is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile, Kanban, DevOps practices, SDLC governance, enterprise change management, and onshore, offshore, nearshore, or vendor delivery models is preferred.
