Responsibilities
- Define and lead multi-team technical strategies for scalability and interoperability.
- Design reusable frameworks and systems and establish engineering patterns across multiple engineering pods.
- Drive cross-functional initiatives involving data architecture, security, reliability, and performance.
- Advise leadership on technical direction, architectural tradeoffs, and executive technical decisions.
- Mentor senior engineers and influence engineering culture and architectural evolution.
- Apply architectural expertise across Datavant’s multi-cloud, distributed platform and guide cross-team technology adoption.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with demonstrated system design mastery.
- Deep experience with large-scale distributed systems, multi-cloud architectures, data pipelines, and security.
- Strong organizational influence and ability to align teams across business verticals.
- Ability to translate strategic objectives into scalable engineering execution.
- Commitment to mentorship, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
