Base Salary
$180k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and deploy scalable full-stack applications for CLEAR’s identity platform.
- Own projects end-to-end from technical discovery and architecture through implementation, rollout, and operational support.
- Partner with Product, Design, Data, Security, and Operations to develop scalable technical solutions.
- Improve system reliability, performance, testing, observability, and developer experience.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and improve platform scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Participate in code reviews, technical collaboration, and sharing engineering best practices.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional full-stack software engineering experience building production applications.
- Experience with Python, React, and TypeScript.
- Strong fundamentals in distributed systems, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and modern software architecture.
- Experience operating cloud-native applications using AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Demonstrated ownership of complex cross-functional projects from idea through production.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts and influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfort operating in ambiguous environments and independently driving work forward.
- Collaborative mindset focused on improving engineering practices and delivering customer and business impact.
