Base Salary
$143k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and evolve IAM foundations for AI Agents, including identity and permission systems.
- Build reliable and performant authentication and authorization systems for millions of users.
- Propose and implement technical solutions and guide system architecture.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, Compliance, and Product Engineering teams.
- Support and develop engineers through code reviews and design discussions.
- Contribute to a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Champion Samsara’s cultural principles as the company scales.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in building and operating production software.
- Strong understanding of cloud security and IAM systems.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Golang.
- Experience designing and operating scalable distributed systems.
- Background in building security-sensitive or identity-related systems.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence without direct authority.
