Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end systems deliveries that scale the firm across business lines.
- Build core services supporting reference data, trade management, position management, and compliance for the systematic credit investment process.
- Integrate core services with external parties including middle-office teams and fund administrators.
- Use and contribute to the software development toolkit, including source code control, CI/CD, test infrastructure, packaging, and deployment.
- Build common libraries and software infrastructure.
- Review and test code and systems according to the software development process.
- Support production systems and collaborate with Portfolio Management, Operations, Compliance, Systems, Quantitative, and Platform Infrastructure Engineering teams.
Requirements
- Ability to write high-quality Python code.
- C++ and/or Rust coding experience, or interest in coding in Rust, is highly desirable.
- Understanding of the importance of testing.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and business analysis skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies and develop expertise in fixed income.
- Ability to parse problems and present solutions, with ownership of written code.
- Server-side development, SQL database, API design, Rust, Kubernetes, and fixed income experience are valued but not essential.
