Responsibilities
- Develop and lead AI/ML initiatives, including chatbots, recommendation systems, translation services, and agentic AI solutions.
- Build and optimize LLM applications using Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, prompt engineering, RAG, vector databases, and semantic search.
- Develop scalable software using Python, microservices, concurrency processing, test-driven development, and low-level design practices.
- Implement LLM serving and optimization using vLLM, FastAPI, quantization, knowledge distillation, and model-serving tools.
- Deploy and monitor ML workloads using MLOps practices, automated retraining, container orchestration, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Apply feature engineering, embedding optimization, dimensionality reduction, A/B testing, experimental design, and statistical hypothesis testing.
- Use cloud platforms and network security practices to support ML systems.
- Track code and experiments using Git and MLflow.
Requirements
- 4-8 years of total and relevant experience in AI/ML or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Python and familiarity with Go or Rust.
- Deep understanding of the ML and LLM development lifecycle, including fine-tuning and evaluation.
- Experience with Spark, Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, TensorFlow, PyTorch, SQL, and cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Experience with RAG systems, vector databases, semantic search, feature engineering, embeddings, dimensionality reduction, and LLM optimization.
- Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation, GitHub Actions or Jenkins, Kubernetes, Helm, and service mesh implementations.
- Proficiency with vLLM, FastAPI, TorchServe or TF Serving, model quantization, and automated model retraining.
- Knowledge of MLOps practices, model deployment and monitoring, A/B testing, experimental design, and statistical hypothesis testing.
- Bachelor of Engineering or a related qualification such as B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, or MBA.
- Prior experience in industries leveraging AI/ML is preferred.
