Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver modern, flexible, scalable, high-throughput, low-latency network architecture.
- Implement workflows to orchestrate on-orbit payload activities.
- Develop highly available software for networking control-plane operations on physical and virtual nodes.
- Define and automate software development, implementation, testing, and maintenance processes.
- Provide operational excellence for control-plane services, including operational tools and process refinement.
- Diagnose routing and forwarding issues across control-plane, data-plane, and physical network topology.
- Integrate telemetry, topology, link-state, and network-condition data into route computation and control systems.
- Develop routing behavior for topology transitions, link changes, node movement, degraded links, and failures.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: knowledge of professional software engineering best practices across architecture, code reviews, source control, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, refugee, or person granted asylum due to export control requirements.
