Responsibilities
- Provision, configure, and support Google Cloud environments for AI, data, and enterprise workloads.
- Support Vertex AI workspaces, model and data pipelines, inference services, and deployment components.
- Implement infrastructure as code, configuration management, environment standards, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Deploy and package services using Docker and Kubernetes while maintaining release, rollback, and promotion processes.
- Automate operational tasks and data movement using Python, Shell Script, SQL, or comparable tools.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, dashboards, and cost controls for cloud and AI workloads.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, pipeline, access, performance, and deployment issues and document root causes.
- Collaborate with international engineering teams and customers while following security and change-control practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, infrastructure, platform engineering, data engineering, or a related role.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, including compute, storage, networking, IAM, monitoring, and deployment services.
- Working knowledge of Vertex AI or other managed AI/ML platforms and the operational needs of data or model pipelines.
- Practical experience with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, source control, and infrastructure as code.
- Scripting capability in Python, Shell Script, or a similar language, plus basic SQL for troubleshooting.
- Understanding of cloud-native architecture, system reliability, access control, secrets management, and operational support.
- Professional English communication skills and the ability to work with international engineering teams.
- Preferred qualifications include Google Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer certification, experience with Vertex AI Pipelines, Dataflow, Airflow, MLflow, Terraform modules, platform observability, Google Agent Development Kit, Gemini, LLM application deployment, MLOps/LLMOps, customer-facing delivery, or incident management.
