Base Salary
$126k - $189k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full-stack enterprise applications across front-end and back-end components.
- Write code, pair with developers, decompose acceptance criteria, and deliver sprint goals within an Agile/Scrum team.
- Design, document, and develop solutions using modern software architecture principles, design patterns, microservices, and event-driven services.
- Build and maintain user interfaces, server-side logic, APIs, and database-backed applications.
- Troubleshoot coding, application performance, design, and production issues; perform root-cause analysis and implement defect resolutions.
- Use Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for service orchestration.
- Develop and automate unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Use AI tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve development workflows and propose AI-informed product approaches.
- Communicate progress, manage escalations, identify and mitigate risks, and optimize recurring technical and operational processes.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software development experience.
- Strong experience with Java, JavaScript frameworks such as React, Spring Boot, and Oracle.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of modern application architecture, data structures, and object-oriented principles using Java.
- Experience with AI tools for enhancing development workflows.
- Experience with microservices, event-driven services, service-oriented and microservices architectures, REST, and GraphQL.
- Ability to develop front-end interfaces using JavaScript frameworks, HTML5, and CSS.
- Experience developing server-side logic and APIs using Java, Python, or similar languages.
- Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, relational database management systems, and Oracle.
- Experience designing and implementing high-performance RESTful APIs.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Maven or Gradle, Docker, Jenkins, and OpenShift.
- AWS experience is considered an advantage.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools such as JIRA.
- Experience developing and automating unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Practical experience with code versioning tools, including GitHub Enterprise.
