Responsibilities
- Research modern cryptographic protocols for blockchain applications, including post-quantum cryptography, threshold signatures, signature aggregation, and proof systems.
- Explore and benchmark NIST post-quantum signature standards and emerging academic constructions.
- Collaborate with senior researchers and engineers to translate research outcomes into practical applications.
- Publish research findings and contribute to open-source cryptographic projects when appropriate.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a PhD in computer science, cryptography, or a closely related field.
- Strong theoretical or practical knowledge of cryptography, including post-quantum signatures, MPC or threshold protocols, zero-knowledge proofs, or interactive proof systems.
- Proficiency in at least one of Rust, C++, or Python.
- Ability to read and reason about security proofs from academic literature.
- Preferred: research experience or publications in post-quantum cryptography, threshold signatures, or verifiable computation.
- Preferred: familiarity with blockchain architectures, smart contract platforms, or on-chain signature verification constraints.
- Preferred: proficiency in using AI tools to accelerate research workflows.
