Responsibilities
- Plan and execute penetration tests, red team operations, and security assessments against internal systems, applications, and infrastructure.
- Identify, analyze, and document vulnerabilities and risks in staging and production environments.
- Conduct technical security reviews for new services, features, and platform changes.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams on defense-in-depth controls and mitigation strategies.
- Research and evaluate AI-specific threats, including prompt injection, data poisoning, model inversion, model extraction, and jailbreak attacks.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related STEM discipline.
- Strong interest in cybersecurity, particularly offensive security, penetration testing, or red team activities.
- Familiarity with common security concepts, vulnerabilities, and exploitation techniques.
- Experience with at least one programming or scripting language, such as Python, Go, Java, JavaScript, or C/C++.
- Problem-solving ability, self-direction, and ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred: participation in CTF competitions, bug bounty programs, or similar hands-on security challenges.
- Preferred: published vulnerabilities such as CVEs or contributions to security research or tools.
- Preferred: familiarity with cloud and container security, network security, or mobile application security.
