Responsibilities

  • Support development and testing of ATC software modules for scalability and performance across rail systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software with signaling and control hardware platforms.
  • Assist with reliability analysis and validation using simulation tools and test benches.
  • Contribute to train automation, safety logic, and communication protocol solutions.
  • Document findings, share insights, and support continuous improvement within the software engineering team.
  • Deliver assigned software tasks and documentation on time while contributing to testing accuracy, defect reduction, and process efficiency.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a four-year Computer Science, Engineering, or related program and completed at least two years.
  • Familiarity with embedded systems programming using C.
  • Exposure to Python and Linux is a plus.
  • Understanding of real-time operating systems or control algorithms.
  • Interest in railway signaling systems, safety-critical software, or automation.
  • Ability to use version control tools such as Git.
  • Strong analytical mindset and willingness to learn and collaborate with experienced engineers.
