Responsibilities

  • Build a new execution management system platform for listed futures and options.
  • Translate product and design requirements into clean, maintainable, well-tested software components.
  • Collaborate with product managers, business partners, traders, designers, and backend engineers.
  • Identify and resolve application performance, accessibility, and usability issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to shared component libraries and engineering standards.
  • Support the operational health of features and help maintain a high SLA.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of professional software engineering experience using Java.
  • At least 4 years of experience with modern technologies and a proven track record operating at the Senior Engineer level.
  • Hands-on experience building and supporting low-latency, front-office trading systems.
  • Deep understanding of execution management systems, including core functionality and workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Commitment to engineering quality, reliability, high development standards, tooling, performance, and maintainability.
