Responsibilities
- Build a new execution management system platform for listed futures and options.
- Translate product and design requirements into clean, maintainable, well-tested software components.
- Collaborate with product managers, business partners, traders, designers, and backend engineers.
- Identify and resolve application performance, accessibility, and usability issues.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to shared component libraries and engineering standards.
- Support the operational health of features and help maintain a high SLA.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of professional software engineering experience using Java.
- At least 4 years of experience with modern technologies and a proven track record operating at the Senior Engineer level.
- Hands-on experience building and supporting low-latency, front-office trading systems.
- Deep understanding of execution management systems, including core functionality and workflows.
- Strong knowledge of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Commitment to engineering quality, reliability, high development standards, tooling, performance, and maintainability.
