Responsibilities
- Build core components of a multi-petabyte cloud storage platform.
- Design and implement high-performance, scalable storage architectures.
- Propose and prototype strategies to enhance system performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex distributed systems problems.
- Provide ongoing support for production systems and customer workloads.
- Foster collaboration with other engineering teams and departments.
Requirements
- Hands-on proficiency in modern software development best practices.
- Experience in languages like Go, Java, C/C++, or Rust.
- Extensive experience in developing cloud-scale distributed storage infrastructure.
- Background in high-performance filesystem products and Linux filesystems.
- Proficiency with Linux and its storage subsystems.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools and debugging techniques.
