Responsibilities
- Develop and implement cloud-based security architectures for mission-critical Intelligence Community systems.
- Support documentation, validation, assessment, and accreditation processes for IT systems.
- Define desired states and risk thresholds, analyze actual-state information, and assess compliance.
- Advise leaders and clients on security objectives, doctrine, procedures, and requirements.
- Evaluate applications, software, and utility programs for adherence to software assurance best practices.
- Research and recommend security tools and capabilities across on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid environments.
- Implement cloud security architectures, tools, and processes while collaborating with clients and security experts.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience building and administering cloud environments using cloud-native functionality, COTS, GOTS, and open-source tools.
- Experience developing and evaluating security documentation, including system security plans, contingency plans, security procedures, and continuity of operations plans.
- Experience with security architecture evaluations, guidance development, troubleshooting, and the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Experience working in an Agile development environment and knowledge of infrastructure-as-code concepts such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep.
- Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to take a polygraph examination.
- Associate’s degree and 10+ years, Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years, or Master’s degree and 6+ years of experience supporting IT projects and activities.
- Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification and a DoD 8570 CSSP-IS certification within 30 days of start date.
- Experience with the software development life cycle and cloud technologies is preferred.
- Excellent team leadership, development, client relationship, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are preferred.
