Responsibilities
- Develop features to enhance the security of Network Security products.
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to find solutions for security challenges.
- Focus on quality and security throughout the development process.
- Ensure product reliability, availability, performance, and scalability.
- Maintain existing code and troubleshoot issues in complex environments.
- Collaborate with other teams within the organization.
- Integrate AI coding assistants into the development workflow.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor other developers.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with Linux/Unix applications.
- Proficient in C and C++, with experience in Perl and Python.
- Understanding of Linux system and middleware programming.
- Good knowledge of Linux Operating System Internals.
- Familiarity with certificates and cryptography.
- Knowledge of REST Architecture is a plus.
- Understanding of Networking Protocols like DHCP, TCP/IP, and others is a plus.
- Experience with Enterprise Networking or Security Appliances is a plus.
- Ability to triage and fix security vulnerabilities.
- Proficiency with debugging tools, version control, and static code analysis.
- Strong fundamentals in data structures, OOP, and OS concepts.
