Responsibilities
- Build, configure, and maintain features and integrations in digital platforms.
- Develop, test, and document solutions within Salesforce using both declarative and coded functionality.
- Maintain existing Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, and Lightning Web Components.
- Create new Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, and LWCs across the Salesforce platform.
- Oversee the end-to-end architecture of the Salesforce Platform and other integrations.
- Evaluate development techniques and choose the correct technology based on requirements.
- Participate in training team members in technical best practices.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving defects during project delivery.
- Implement workflow logic, APIs, authentication protocols, and back-end processes.
- Customize platform components and third-party tools to support evolving digital needs.
- Support deployment of chatbot, AI search, knowledge base, and user routing logic.
- Build dashboards and data flows to enable personalized customer experiences.
- Partner with IT and vendors to manage updates, upgrades, and technical support.
- Work cross-functionally with UX, Product, and Ops to align development with business goals.
- Recommend technical improvements to streamline processes.
- Participate in roadmap planning and contribute to solution design.
- Provide level of effort estimates for proposed solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning development.
- 2+ years of experience integrating Salesforce with third-party applications.
- In-depth knowledge of REST APIs and experience building integrations with Salesforce.
- Valid Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification required.
- Knowledge of package management and scratch org setup.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce data sharing and visibility.
- Good to have experience in web technologies like JavaScript, HTML, CSS, APIs, JSON.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to scalability and maintainability.
- Familiarity with automation tools, customer portals, or support platforms is a plus.
