Responsibilities
- Build, configure, maintain, test, and document features and integrations across digital platforms.
- Develop and maintain Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, and Lightning Web Components on Salesforce.
- Oversee Salesforce Platform architecture, including Salesforce Service Cloud, Experience Cloud portals, and other integrations.
- Select synchronous or asynchronous development techniques based on business requirements and system constraints.
- Implement workflow logic, APIs, authentication protocols, backend processes, platform customizations, and third-party tools.
- Use development tools including VS Code, Salesforce CLI, Git, and GitLab.
- Troubleshoot and resolve defects during project delivery, deployment, implementation, and production operation.
- Ensure digital platform performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Support chatbot, AI search, knowledge base, and user-routing deployments.
- Build dashboards and data flows for personalized customer experiences.
- Partner with IT and vendors on updates, upgrades, and technical support.
- Collaborate with UX, Product, and Operations on requirements, roadmap planning, solution design, testing, and deployment.
- Recommend technical improvements, estimate solution effort, and assess feasibility, benefits, and risks.
- Help train team members in technical best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent applicable work experience.
- At least 3 years of experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning development, configuration, testing, deployment, platform development, backend configuration, or system integration.
- At least 2 years of experience integrating Salesforce with third-party applications.
- In-depth knowledge of REST APIs and experience building Salesforce integrations.
- Valid Salesforce Platform Developer II certification is required.
- Knowledge of package management and scratch org setup.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce data sharing and visibility, identity, and access management.
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, APIs, and JSON is preferred.
- Familiarity with automation tools, customer portals, or support platforms is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to scalability and maintainability.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Experience Cloud, Khoros, Higher Logic, Insided, Vanilla, Salesforce CRM, Gainsight, Zendesk, Zendesk Guide, Confluence, Aha, Drift, Intercom, Ada, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or Power BI is preferred but not required.
