Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable Python backend services and microservices.
- Lead end-to-end development of full-stack applications integrating React frontends with Python backends.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and application delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on technical requirements, architecture, and deliverables.
- Optimize database performance and data models using PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
- Manage service containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Develop, document, and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce software engineering best practices.
Requirements
- At least 4 to 6 years of software development experience, including substantial Python backend and microservices expertise.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with microservices architecture and design.
- Strong knowledge of Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Proficiency in Golang as a secondary backend language.
- Experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience managing and optimizing PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
- Experience developing and integrating REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Experience with automated testing using PyTest.
- Preferred hands-on React experience, including React Context and Redux.
- Preferred experience with CSS, SCSS, or LESS.
- Preferred experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Preferred knowledge of caching strategies, performance tuning, security best practices, and monitoring and logging tools.
- Preferred experience with Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Certification in Python development, microservices architecture, cloud technologies, or DevOps practices is desired.
