Pure StorageResponsibilities
- Design, collaborate on, and implement algorithms and technologies for high-performance, highly reliable systems.
- Own innovation and delivery end to end, from concept through shipped product.
- Analyze and resolve challenging technical problems.
- Collaborate with product management, product development, system validation, support, and customers.
- Make strategic architectural decisions and drive design and architecture evolution through architecture forums.
- Contribute to production deployments, high availability, and uptime of enterprise infrastructure.
- Deliver quality enterprise products and applications.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of developer-level Linux platform experience.
- Strong programming skills in C, C++, Python, Java, Go, or another programming language, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, threads, synchronization, and concurrent programming.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for communicating architectures, design proposals, and stakeholder tradeoffs.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, computer engineering, electronics engineering, electrical engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Preferred hands-on development experience in the storage domain and related technologies.
- Preferred experience making strategic architectural decisions and driving design and architecture evolution.
- Understanding of production systems and enterprise infrastructure deployments.
