Base Salary
$121k - $266k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain complex Ruby on Rails applications.
- Analyze requirements, dependencies, technical feasibility, risks, and impacts across interconnected systems.
- Collaborate with analysts, project leads, testers, subject matter experts, customers, and other stakeholders to deliver application solutions.
- Develop technical specifications, maintainable code, APIs, data conversion routines, and unit tests.
- Diagnose defects, identify root causes, and coordinate resolutions for application testing and deployments.
- Support application migrations, modernization initiatives, and improvements using AWS and related technologies.
- Maintain technical documentation and follow configuration management and release standards.
Requirements
- At least two years of relevant web development or software development experience.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
- Demonstrated experience developing, testing, and supporting Ruby on Rails web applications.
- Hands-on experience with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, SQL, and relational databases.
- Understanding of web development principles, software engineering practices, coding standards, and application security.
- Ability to analyze complex technical issues, assess dependencies and impacts, recommend solutions with minimal supervision, and take ownership of development tasks.
- Ability to obtain CompTIA Security+ certification within the first six months.
- Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, AWS and cloud architecture experience, automated testing and deployment experience, API or integration experience, application migration or modernization experience, and familiarity with DoD or Intelligence Community environments.
