Base Salary
$121k - $266k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain complex Ruby on Rails applications.
- Analyze requirements, dependencies, implementation options, technical feasibility, risks, and system impacts.
- Collaborate with analysts, project leads, testers, subject matter experts, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Develop technical specifications, maintainable code, APIs, data conversion routines, and unit tests.
- Support application testing and deployments by diagnosing defects, identifying root causes, and coordinating resolutions.
- Contribute to application migrations, modernization initiatives, AWS improvements, documentation, configuration management, and release activities.
Requirements
- At least two years of relevant web development or software development experience.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
- Demonstrated experience developing, testing, and supporting Ruby on Rails web applications.
- Hands-on experience with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, SQL, and relational databases.
- Understanding of web development principles, software engineering practices, coding standards, and application security.
- Ability to analyze complex technical issues, assess dependencies and impacts, recommend solutions, and work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to obtain CompTIA Security+ certification within the first six months.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, is desired.
- Preferred experience includes AWS, cloud architectures, CI/CD, automated testing, web APIs, application integrations, data conversion, application migrations, modernization, AI-assisted development tools, and DoD or Intelligence Community environments.
