Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain business-critical software systems for internal operations.
- Build and integrate API backends, UI front-end services, custom software, and third-party products.
- Collaborate with Software Architects, Technical Leads, and cross-functional teams on technical direction and delivery.
- Mentor and support Junior Software Developers with technical tasks.
- Review work items, provide estimates, and identify delivery risks.
- Ensure code quality, performance, logging, testing, and maintainability.
- Contribute to planning, documentation, process governance, and release processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development and production environments.
- Drive continuous improvement in development practices and quality control.
- Validate AI-assisted development output responsibly before implementation.
- Communicate technical requirements clearly within and across teams.
Requirements
- Proficiency in software development and the Software Development Lifecycle, including API backends and UI front-end services.
- Technical expertise in .NET, React, JavaScript, Python, MS-SQL or PostgreSQL, and cloud-based microservices.
- Deep understanding of complex system architecture and experience integrating systems and collaborating across teams.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality, maintainable code through analytical problem-solving.
- Track record of mentoring and guiding Junior Software Developers.
- High degree of experience using AI-assisted development tools for code completion, generation, and review.
- Knowledge of release management and quality control processes.
- Expertise in using AI and AI tooling within software development to improve delivery, productivity, and engineering quality.
