Responsibilities
- Develop data applications for ETCS, electronic interlockings, train control systems, and railway control and dispatch systems.
- Implement software solutions across specification, architecture, design, coding, testing, and integration.
- Gather, align, and document requirements with product development, systems engineers, and end users.
- Advise the development team on Microsoft Foundation Class technology and support architecture and design decisions.
- Support software rollouts, prepare user documentation, train users, and assist with commissioning.
Requirements
- Completed technical degree in computer science, electrical engineering, railway signaling technology, or a comparable qualification.
- Knowledge of XML technologies, such as XSD, XSLT, and XSL-FO, and strong interest in data and functional relationships.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming with C++ and MFC technology.
- Analytical thinking, quick comprehension, structured working practices, diligence, teamwork, communication skills, and a sense of responsibility.
- Very good German and English language skills.
