Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance software solutions for workflow and workplace applications.
- Present solutions in workshops, implement them, test them, and create related documentation.
- Analyze and resolve customer-reported incidents and errors.
- Review framework vulnerabilities with software architects and assess their criticality.
- Develop performant, maintainable Java and Quarkus backend applications.
- Use Kafka, MongoDB, and SQL databases to support event-driven communication and appropriate data persistence.
- Take responsibility for assigned topics and support customers and colleagues in identifying opportunities for AI tools.
Requirements
- Completed Fachinformatiker training or a degree in computer science.
- At least three years of relevant professional experience as a Software Engineer.
- Strong experience with Java and Quarkus backend development.
- Experience with microservice architectures, Domain-Driven Design, and Clean Architecture.
- Experience with Kafka, MongoDB, and SQL databases.
- Ability to learn new releases, features, and technologies.
- Ability to use AI tools confidently in the relevant professional domain and critically evaluate their results.
- Very good German language skills at least at C1 level.
