Responsibilities
- Ship product features and improvements while leading a team of engineers working on the product roadmap.
- Oversee software architecture, Git workflows, code reviews, technical feedback, and development standards.
- Identify, minimize, and manage technical debt while improving developer experience and code quality.
- Make key technical architecture and design decisions and contribute to the strategic vision and long-term roadmap.
- Own the stability and performance of the services and applications supported by the team.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a technical lead role designing and building single-page web applications.
- At least 8 years of relevant professional experience building web applications with JavaScript frameworks such as Ember.js or React.js.
- Deep knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience building single-page applications and understanding of applicable best practices and coding patterns.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve technically complex problems.
- Pragmatic judgment regarding product value, reliability, performance, and business needs.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to clearly explain technical perspectives.
