
Lead Software Engineer - Front End/React

- Execute software design, development, technical troubleshooting, and end-to-end solution delivery.
- Build secure, scalable, reliable, cloud-native, microservices-based applications using modern architectural and domain-modeling techniques.
- Develop high-quality production code, review code written by others, and design solutions that avoid single points of failure.
- Identify and automate recurring issue remediation and promptly investigate and resolve technical issues.
- Lead Software Engineering communities of practice and share reusable engineering patterns and automation.
- Drive adoption, governance, and measurable validation of approved AI-assisted engineering practices across teams.
- Apply Software Development Life Cycle tooling and automation to improve engineering outcomes at scale.
- Continuously update technologies and patterns while promoting secure coding, peer review, automated testing, and operational reliability.
Requirements
- Formal software engineering training or certification and 10+ years of applied experience.
- Proficiency with JavaScript or TypeScript and React or comparable front-end frameworks.
- Knowledge of modern JavaScript design patterns, HTML5, CSS, Sass, and LESS.
- Ability to independently solve design and functionality challenges with minimal supervision.
- Experience with software development life cycle practices and agile development methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience leading effective use of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools for coding, code review, test acceleration, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to establish expectations for validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security controls.
- Experience coaching senior engineers or leads on compliant AI-assisted engineering practices.
- Proficiency across the Software Development Life Cycle and advanced understanding of application resiliency and security.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, mentoring, stakeholder management, problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to drive broader impact by sharing and contributing best practices.
