Responsibilities
- Lead the platform operations team in supporting internal developers.
- Identify and resolve operational problems in a micro-service environment.
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot deployment and runtime issues.
- Perform analysis and debugging across multiple technologies.
- Prioritize issues to maintain application performance within error budgets.
- Provide technical solutions to a variety of user requests.
- Document processes and procedures based on team feedback.
- Compile postmortems to minimize future outages.
- Conduct interviews for team member roles and recommend hires.
- Train new team members and assist with their issues.
- Provide on-call support to internal developers and staff.
Requirements
- BS degree in STEM or equivalent experience.
- Customer-focused and team-oriented disposition.
- Strong systems debugging skills.
- Familiarity with Linux environment or UNIX CLI.
- Experience with programming or scripting languages.
- Ability to create processes, procedures, and SOP documentation.
- General understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP, and related protocols.
- Initiative to take ownership of tasks and drive them to completion.
- Comfortable interacting with users of varying IT knowledge levels.
- Eager to learn new technologies.
- Strong communication and soft skills.
