Base Salary
$110k - $135k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build backend wiring, application logic, and user interfaces for educational products.
- Design, code, test, debug, and tune software throughout the development process.
- Own projects from start to finish through the development cycle.
- Collaborate with engineers and other teams to design products for students and teachers.
- Select and use appropriate technologies to add features and create new products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in computer science or a related discipline.
- Excellent programming skills.
- Strong analytical-reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and with a wide variety of teams.
- Knowledge of Unix, Python, Java, SQL, or JavaScript is a plus.
- Passion for improving education through technology.
Benefits
- Full-time position with a base salary range of $110,000 to $135,000 plus equity and benefits.
- Work is based at the company’s headquarters office in San Mateo, California.
