Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the database platform, including performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Manage Crunchtime application operations such as provisioning, decommissioning, patching, and upgrades.
- Participate in on-call rotation and serve as a knowledge resource for junior DBAs.
- Engage in scheduled maintenance work, including database patching and upgrades.
- Provide database expertise to development, support, and other teams.
Requirements
- 6-10 years of experience in Oracle Database and RAC administration.
- 6-10 years of experience in Oracle Database backup and recovery.
- Basic knowledge of Linux and understanding of computer networking and SAN.
- Experience in Oracle Dataguard and GoldenGate administration.
- Strong attention to detail and a desire to learn.
