Responsibilities
- Design scalable, high-quality, performant, and maintainable software solutions for AI and machine learning initiatives.
- Lead software architecture decisions and establish technical direction for globally deployed critical projects.
- Design MLOps and data pipelines and coordinate software delivery with research and product stakeholders.
- Collaborate with experienced and junior developers to deliver assigned solutions.
- Perform code reviews, mentor developers, and promote software development best practices.
- Own the technical debt of supported systems and lead discovery of relevant technologies and techniques.
- Create and maintain documentation for team initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of professional software development experience.
- Proven experience leading machine learning-based systems.
- Strong software engineering, software architecture, object-oriented programming, and data pipeline knowledge.
- Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud services.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments; SAFe experience is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks and Python test automation.
- Preferred experience with Python, machine learning projects such as computer vision or natural language processing, GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, pandas, Spark, Arrow, Databricks, and GPU-based model serving with CUDA, Triton, or dynamic/continuous batching.
