Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end claims solutions from requirements through production release.
- Work in a self-organized agile product team with ownership of the full development process.
- Contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews, and technical standards.
- Develop Java and Spring Boot applications, Kafka integrations, and database connections.
- Use cloud environments and delivery tooling including OpenShift, Helm, Argo CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Contribute to the organization’s AI transformation, hackathons, innovation projects, and internal technical communities.
- Communicate technical matters clearly and collaborate with stakeholders in German and English.
Requirements
- Several years of senior software engineering experience are implied by the Senior Software Engineer role, although no numeric experience requirement is stated.
- Strong Java knowledge and experience with frameworks such as Spring Boot.
- Ability to design and implement REST APIs and Kafka integrations.
