Base Salary
$129k - $129k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop embedded software for safety-critical robotics systems using C, C++, or Rust.
- Debug and optimize embedded systems in laboratory and field environments, including hardware-software integration.
- Design, build, and operate scalable, fault-tolerant, cloud-connected distributed systems and microservices.
- Own software through design, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and ongoing operations, including on-call duties.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, technical documentation, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
- Use development best practices, design patterns, monitoring, and operational excellence practices.
- Contribute to GenAI and AI-powered tools that improve development productivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Experience implementing data structures, developing basic algorithms, and/or applying object-oriented design principles.
- Experience programming in C/C++ and Python.
- Preferred: prior technical internships or demonstrated project experience.
- Preferred: experience with AWS or other cloud platforms, SQL and NoSQL databases, AI development tools, open-source projects, or version control systems.
- Preferred: experience with linear programming, nonlinear optimization, distributed systems, multi-tiered systems, algorithms, relational databases, robotics, computer vision, machine learning, manipulation, perception, motion planning, controls, movement, autonomous navigation, or path planning.
