Responsibilities
- Build and maintain core Nitro Backend infrastructure powering Arbitrum.
- Solve complex distributed systems challenges and optimize performance.
- Contribute to the security and scalability of Arbitrum.
- Collaborate with research, product, and blockchain engineering teams.
- Identify and address potential threats and vulnerabilities in code.
- Contribute beyond immediate day-to-day responsibilities and support teammates.
Requirements
- Extensive production experience with a concurrency-supporting programming language such as Go, C++, or Rust.
- Significant contributions to products developed during the candidate’s career.
- A security-focused mindset and attention to potential threats and code vulnerabilities.
- Strong ownership, experimentation, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and openness to feedback.
- Familiarity with WebAssembly and production experience writing high-performance, high-security code is preferred.
- Passion for, curiosity about, or experience with blockchain technology is preferred.
- Experience with compilers, systems architecture, or SDK development is preferred.
