Base Salary
$160k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write, review, and ship production code that drives customer and business outcomes.
- Own the reliability, maintainability, and lifecycle of software built for production.
- Evaluate and drive technical decisions balancing speed, quality, security, and scalability.
- Troubleshoot complex production challenges and serve as a trusted technical resource.
- Build demos, prototypes, examples, and technical content to support technology adoption.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, sales executives, and other stakeholders to deliver outcomes.
- Improve software development, deployment, and operations practices across the enterprise lifecycle.
Requirements
- Direct experience with Python, Terraform, and AWS is required.
- Advanced proficiency in Python, Terraform, and Google Cloud Platform is required.
- Proficiency with backend frameworks and technologies such as Node.js, NuxtJS, Express.js, or Python.
- Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, or Vercel.
- Strong knowledge of Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, C++, or Go.
- Hands-on knowledge of RPC technologies and API architectures including gRPC or GraphQL.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Firebase.
- Familiarity with Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab, or similar CI/CD tools.
- Experience with Git or Perforce.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed application design.
- Familiarity with OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face, Vertex AI, Amazon Bedrock, or SageMaker.
- Ability to build and scale enterprise-grade applications with 99%+ service-level availability.
Benefits
- Base compensation is $230,000-$250,000 plus bonus and equity.
- The role is based in an in-person work environment in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
