Base Salary
$174k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write and test product or system development code.
- Participate in or lead design reviews and select among available technologies.
- Review other developers’ code for style, correctness, testability, and efficiency.
- Contribute to and update documentation or educational content.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues affecting hardware, networks, service operations, and quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
- At least 3 years of experience developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, networks, compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
- At least 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products and at least 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- Experience in a Linux/Unix operating system environment.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree or PhD in computer science or a related technical field.
- Preferred qualifications include 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms, 1 year of technical leadership experience, containerization and orchestration experience in cloud environments, and software development experience using C++ or Go.
Benefits
- US base salary of $174000–$252000 per year, plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
