Base Salary
$168k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the enablement and optimization of HPC and AI solutions on AMD EPYC processors.
- Optimize and tune software-level code and customer HPC and AI applications.
- Profile systems and interpret performance metrics using tools such as uProf, VTune, and perf.
- Support AI framework and model deployment at production-level clusters.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and silicon development teams on performance strategy, competitive analysis, and product development.
- Help showcase AMD product capabilities and influence future product generations.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in x86 computing architecture.
- Proven expertise in software-level code optimization and tuning.
- Strong familiarity with system-level profiling and interpretation of performance metrics.
- Hands-on experience with HPC applications, AI frameworks, AI models, and production cluster deployment.
- Familiarity with current and emerging AI tools such as Claude and Curser.
- Contribution to large HPC codebases using CPU or GPU is a plus.
- MS or PhD preferred in Computer Science or a related equivalent field.
