Responsibilities

  • Own the architecture and engineering standards for global IAM and directory services supporting enterprise, partner, and customer-facing applications.
  • Design and operate highly available, fault-tolerant, disaster-resilient authentication and authorization services across hybrid environments.
  • Manage directory synchronization, federation, authentication flows, RBAC, ABAC, policy-based authorization, and Zero Trust controls.
  • Secure non-human identities including AI agents, RPA identities, service accounts, workloads, APIs, and system identities.
  • Lead IAM assessments, integration, consolidation, or coexistence strategies for mergers and acquisitions.
  • Define multi-year IAM roadmaps, evaluate emerging identity technologies, ensure knowledge continuity, and mentor engineers.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management, directory services, or security platform engineering.
  • Architectural-level expertise with Active Directory, Entra ID/Azure AD including B2C, Oracle Unified Directory, and Linux/Unix authentication mechanisms.
  • Experience supporting global, highly available, business-critical identity systems and customer-facing digital platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of authentication and authorization flows, federation, synchronization, RBAC, ABAC, policy-driven access, and Zero Trust architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, Kerberos, LDAP/LDAPS, SCIM, RADIUS, SSH key-based authentication, PAM, X.509 certificate-based authentication, and API-based identity integrations.
  • Experience with PowerShell, Python, APIs, and preferably infrastructure-as-code.
  • Ability to design for availability, resilience, failure scenarios, and long-term technical strategy while influencing teams without formal authority.
  • Preferred qualifications include cloud IAM experience with Azure, AWS, and/or GCP; identity governance, privileged access, and compliance familiarity; globally distributed team experience; and M&A identity integration experience.
