Responsibilities
- Design and build internal platforms and tools for sensitive data discovery, review workflows, access governance, risk tracking, and remediation.
- Develop backend services, APIs, data pipelines, and automation workflows to identify, analyze, and reduce sensitive data exposure.
- Integrate with object storage, databases, data warehouses, streaming platforms, metadata systems, and production services.
- Partner with security, privacy, compliance, data platform, product engineering, data owner, and platform teams.
- Drive technical strategy, architecture decisions, reliability improvements, incident response automation, and platform operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, master's, or PhD in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
- 8+ years of software engineering, systems engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering experience supporting large-scale production environments.
- Strong technical leadership experience driving complex cross-functional infrastructure or platform initiatives.
- Experience designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems and cloud-native platforms.
- Knowledge of system architecture, networking, operating systems, observability, performance engineering, cloud infrastructure, IAM concepts, permissions, logging, and access patterns.
- Experience with AWS cloud services, deployment and monitoring automation, incident response, platform operations, backend development, platform engineering, infrastructure, or distributed systems.
- Strong programming and scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, Java, Go, C++, or similar.
- Preferred experience with mission-critical services, Kubernetes, containers, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, modern observability platforms, SLOs, SLIs, reliability engineering, and cross-organization technical strategy.
